This category is centered around moose sculptures. The moose is an icon of North America and an intriguing creature to study. They are large and imposing animals, yet built on a lanky framework. The sculptures are made from a mixture of new and reclaimed materials (90+%). They can be built with or without wood. Each sculpture varies in size and is constructed for an indoor setting.
Development:
Creating moose sculptures has always been a challenge, especially when it comes to capturing the grace and majestic qualities of their movement. Moose III was the first sculpture to incorporate copper into the antlers and throughout the body. I look forward to exploring this technique further.
