Series Overview
Concept:
This category is dedicated to showcasing masks that do not belong to a specific series.
I have always been drawn to masks and find them an intriguing subject to explore. I'm fascinated by their cultural and historical significance—whether used to conceal identity, provide entertainment, or ward off evil, to name a few. Masks achieve these effects through a vast range of facial expressions. This versatility has allowed me to experiment with new ideas, some of which could serve as precursors to a future series.
Development:
When creating an independent mask, various factors influence the outcome. These factors include experimenting with new techniques, skills, and equipment, as well as setting parameters for materials and complexity. Unlike those in a series, an independent mask is not bound to a sequential path, giving me the freedom to explore a wide range of ideas.
