Development
I have always been fascinated by birds and am fortunate to live in an area rich in birdlife. This has given me the opportunity to observe and interpret their form and movement through creative expression. In these sculptures, I aim to convey the essence of a bird rather than simply replicate it. For example, I strive to capture the graceful, almost dignified stance of a heron, or the intensity of an eagle in mid-landing. As my study of this subject continues to evolve, so too will the work itself.

Eagle XV (2025) is the most recent addition to the bird series. Crafted from reclaimed steel and mahogany wood, it builds on earlier works by emphasizing dynamic form and delicate balance.
