Concept:
This category is centred around elk or wapiti sculptures. They are a graceful animal and I have created a several elks including a large exterior one created from a 1913 linotype printing press which now stands outside the Castlegar airport.
Development:
The bugling posture of the elk captures the essence of its call of the wild. I have tried to represent this through several of my elk sculptures.
